I can't believe that its almost Christmas time already! :-) The year totally flew by. It's been a good year though, more or less. Now we just have to hope that we make it through the Christmas shopping season intact. LOL! Not much to really update about though... just trying to get the house nice & decorated for Christmas. Joe loves to help with that. :-) Let's just hope his Dad & I can survive the "helpfulness". LOL! :-)

Where has the year gone? :-)

I can't believe that I forgot about this blog for most of the year! Bad! But before I give myself a time out in punishment (or is it a reward...LOL), I probably should update. :-) Let's see, Joe turned 3 in may and just this past Friday, turned 3 1/2. It's hard to believe that he'll be 4 in just 6 months. Halloween has come & gone, and it definitely was an exercise in patience for both Chris & I. Joe had a blast though! :-) He went as an "energy vampire" (pretty appropriate huh?). He totally got tons of loot though... which is gone already if you can believe that. Of course I kind of helped too... *insert guilty look here*, what can I say? It's kind of hard to resist all of that yummy candy and ok, I probably never totally grew up. LOL! Now it's almost time for Thanksgiving and we're already really looking forward to it. :-)

It's finally Spring!

Spring is finally here!! Joe is really having a ball outside and it can be hard to get him back inside at the end of the day, but then again, I can't really blame him. It's so beautiful outside and it feels nice to be able to go out without the big, heavy coats! :-) We're also really looking forward to Easter this coming weekend. I think Joe is deffinately going to be scoring big in the Easter basket department. LOL! :-) Happy Easter everyone!

Almost Spring time!

We're getting so tired of winter already! Yes, it looks nice when you're all warm & snugly indoors, but it's really hard when you're a 2 1/2 year old who is just so ready to get outdoors & play without worrying about slipping on the ice that seems to be covering everything. :-) Joe's been a good sport about it so far though & has been on quite the Pooh Bear kick lately. He especially likes his copy of Pooh's Heffalump Movie. He wants to watch it as often as he can, which usually is at least 3 times a day or as many times as he can before nap time. We're deffinately looking forward to warmer weather though so we can go outside and do lots more exploring and maybe even take a few trips to the park to meet friends. :-)

Christmas Time!
I can't believe that it's Christmas time again. :-)
Only a few more days till Christmas and then a brand new year. Time just flew by so fast this year. Good friends moved and we made some new ones, life goes on. Thankfully those old friends still keep in touch and we get to see them at least once a month (you know who you are Brown family.. :-) We miss you guys).

October 2009

I can't believe that we're already half way through October already! Soon we'll be getting Joe all dressed up in his Thomas costume (hey, it still fits, so why not?) and going trick or treating. I think he'll have a lot more fun this year and it will be fun to see the family and friends again. Joe is getting bigger every day and has definitely become a little daredevil. :-) Good thing I keep the first aid kit nicely stocked. :-) It actually snowed here on the 10th but it melted too fast for us to take any pictures of Joe playing in it. I think we're going to have to buy him some snow pants, because once he "discovers" the snow, there won't be any luck keeping him out of it I bet. :-)

Our baby boy is 2 years old!

I can hardly believe it!  Joe turned 2 years old today!  It seems like just the other day that he was placed into my arms for the first time, so tiny and new.  Now there's no stopping him.  He runs around all day and barely stops to eat or sleep. He definitely keeps us busy!  We had his birthday party at a local restaurant called The Sports Page (since we're regulars there) and it couldn't have gone better!  It was a Thomas the Tank Engine themed party and we had all sorts of family and friends show up to celebrate with us.  It was a great day!  Now it's on to the next fun filled year!  No telling what might be in store with a kid like Joe around.  ;-)
