So much snow, so little time! :-)

It sure has been a while since the last post. Completely forgot that this blog existed! LOL! Let's see what all's happened since the last post.... Joe turned 4 in May and is already excited about turning 5 this year. Hard to believe that our little boy is growing up so fast! Not sure we're ready for that. :-) We had a pretty great holiday season and now we're just waiting out the winter so we can go back outside and play without freezing our toes off. LOL! Been hard to keep Joe inside. He really wants to go outside & make a snowman, but there just hasn't been enough snow. Plenty cold, but not enough snow for a snowman. So ready for spring already! :-)

Sure wish Mother Nature would decide which season it's going to be. LOL! I think we've all had enough of winter. Joe's loving any chances he gets to be outdoors, even more than usual. Not sure that I can keep him inside for much longer so I'm sure hoping that the warmer weather finally comes to stay soon. :-) At least in time for Easter anyway.

Yay! Spring is almost here! Joe is a little sad to see the snow go, but I think he's really enjoying being able to get out more since it's nearly gone. :-) He's also loving being able to go visit Daddy's side of the family in Chariton more. Bring on the warm weather and all of the outdoor fun a preschooler can handle! :-) We are so very ready for spring!

Can't believe that we're only a week away from Valentine's day. One of my favorite holidays. :-) We have the house all decorated with hearts and Joe & I are looking forward to surprising Daddy with a yummy Valentine's day treat... as soon as we figure out what to make. LOL! :-) We hope that everyone has a great Valentine's Day and we feel very blessed to have such great family & friends. :-)

I can hardly believe that Christmas is already over and we're already speeding towards New Year's! The year went by so fast! We've had quite a few milestones, both in our own little branch of the family and in other branches of the family as well. :-) Joe is doing really well with his potty training, and Mommy has high hopes that we'll be done soon. :-) We added a new cousin to the family back in September and gained a new 2nd cousin for Joe in the process. Now there's two Joes in the family. LOL! They seem to really have fun together too. :-) Let's see... Joe's twin cousins, Ellie & Abbie, turned 4 in October and are getting so big! All of the kids in the family are growing up so fast that all of the adults' heads are spinning!

Anyway, I think that pretty much sums up our year. :-) 2010 was a pretty good year all in all I'd say. We're looking forward to seeing what surprises 2011 has in store.

I can't believe that its almost Christmas time already! :-) The year totally flew by. It's been a good year though, more or less. Now we just have to hope that we make it through the Christmas shopping season intact. LOL! Not much to really update about though... just trying to get the house nice & decorated for Christmas. Joe loves to help with that. :-) Let's just hope his Dad & I can survive the "helpfulness". LOL! :-)
