Joe turns 23 months old today. It's hard to believe that our baby will be turning 2 in just one month. In some ways it seems as though we just brought him home, yet in others it seems as if he' been a part of our lives forever. He's the typical toddler, and is already acting like the typical 2 year old... throwing fits when he dosen't get his way and is butting heads with his Daddy almost daily. It sure is interesting having 2 strong willed men in our home. Should be interesting as time goes by. :-)

It's been a busy month. The weather has been pretty erratic, but that dosen't seem to matter to Joe. He wants to be outside no matter what the weather is and absolutely loathes coming back inside. I often have to literally bring him back in, kicking & screaming. Totally an outdoor kid. :-) I'm hopeful that the weather will continue to get nicer and that we will be able to spend a lot more time outdoors . I'm also hoping that we will be able to sell our home soon and find ourselves a nice regular house where Joe can run and play to his heart's content.

Almost 22 months old!

I can hardly believe our little man is only 2 months and 2 weeks away from being 2. He's the typical almost 2 year old boy though, getting into everything and testing the limits as often as possible. He loves spending as much time with his Daddy as possible, but it's nice to know that he misses Mommy when I'm away too. It's so cute to see him wave at us from the window when Daddy & I go somewhere. We love him so much and feel so very blessed to have him in our lives!

Just another ordinary week here. Joe is doing the typical silly toddler things and deffinately has his own opinion on just about everything. Deffinately his father's son. :-) He's still a Daddy's boy, but at least he makes time for Mommy. He just about had a cow when I left him in the nursery at church today. Silly boy. He's also been having bad dreams at least once a day for the last day or so. Poor kid. I think he'll be ok... just having a rough time every so often.

On the go!

Joe is always on the go it seems. Now that he's gotten really good at walking, he's started running. Yikes! He get so excited though that he sometimes forgets to be careful and bonks his little head. Good thing Mommy's usually there to kiss it better... even better when Daddy's there too. :-) Joe's really enjoyed having Daddy home today due to the MLK Jr. Holiday ... maybe because it meant a visit to our favorite coffee shop for cinamon rolls & hot cocoa & a meet up with his grandparents too! :-)

20 months old!

20 months old !

I can hardly believe that our little boy is just 4 months away from turning two! Sometimes it seems like we just brought him home from the hospital and yet other times it seems like he's been a part of our lives forever. He's getting really good at walking (he wasn't that big on it till about a month ago) and is getting even more opinionated if that's possible. He's deffinately a Corbett alright! Even has the temper to go with it sometimes.

Joe made out like a bandit this Christmas and tried to stay up for New Year's eve too. Only made it to 10pm. It was still nice having the family over (Grandma & Grandpa on my side).
